To whom it may concern,
My name is Michael Maglaya and I am currently enrolled as a junior student at Cedar Ridge High School. As a member of the National Honor Society as well as an honor roll student, I plan to attend Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and pursue my interest in the audio and video industry by minoring in film and majoring in business. I am hoping that my major and minor will blend together so that I am able use both to my advantage whether that's starting my own AV business or becoming a director.
Even from a young age, I have always been fascinated in movies and cinematography, experimenting in various film clubs in school as well as participating in the media production at my local church, allowing myself to gain more experience with various cameras and equipment. In school, I have taken various technology classes such as audio and video production to further improve my knowledge as a film student and ultimately becoming a greater asset later in the film industry. While taking these classes, I have become comfortable with using various equipment such as the JVC GY-HM1SOU HD camcorders, Sony Electret Condenser Microphones model ECM-44B, Hi-Flex Mic Cables, and Model SM11 Dynamic Lavalier Microphones.
